Letter to the Day-John Birmingham

In our current political environment, there are many challenges. To be a legislator today you have to have common sense, be knowledgeable, have ethics and be calm under stress. The candidate for the 37th House District, Anne Santoro, has all of these characteristics. Anne has served East Lyme as an elected official and community member with distinction, and she will do the same for the 37th District. I know this because I have served with her.

Anne has been quoted as saying, “I like to use my skills and experience to find solutions.” She will listen to all opinions respectfully and then do what’s best for the 37th District.

We need someone in Hartford with Anne’s intelligence and integrity. I am voting for Anne Santoro for the 37th District and I hope you will too.
