Our energy costs, taxes, and fee burden are some of the highest in the nation and have made it increasingly difficult for individuals, families, seniors, and businesses to stay and thrive in our state.
Respecting representative government
Enacting legislation requires full process, debate, and public opinion.
Ensuring public safety
By supporting law enforcement and all of our first responders, our state can better fulfill the first and most important responsibility of government.
Reversing state overreach
State overreach has resulted in unfunded mandates for municipalities, loss of local planning and zoning authority, and limitations on personal freedoms.
Our District and Connecticut are places of great natural beauty, but we are living under the weight of state laws that have stifled affordability, opportunity, local rule, and individual freedoms. One party rule, and now supermajority rule, have not served the people. Let’s bring greater balance and experience to the legislature to adopt better policies that allow our communities to flourish.
